Last Saturday was the 9th grade night dance. My Shaelyn looked so beautiful all dressed up. This is something 9th graders really look forward too (at least the girls do). Who doesn't love to dress up and have some fun? Shae and her friends decided that they were going to have fun and not wait around for the boys to ask them to dance. Needless to say they danced every slow dance with a lot of different boys and had a great time. It is hard for me to believe that my little girl is growing up. As I was getting her ready she said "next time you help me get ready for something big it will be the prom and then when I get married." --ok hold it ---slow down-- I am so not ready for that, besides she is only 14- I hope it doesn't go by that fast and I hope she just enjoys the many fun moments of being a teenager.

After the dance Shae & her friends (about 30 of them boys and girls) went to Hailee's house where Tresa and I made smoothies, popcorn and other treats. Some played games but they mostly just hung out.

Shae looks Beautiful! I can't believe she is old enough for that. It looks like she has a fun group of friends. I'm glad she had a good time at the dance.
