It is hard for me to believe that it is 2009. Our year has started off like many others we're trying to not only come up with goals but also a plan on how to accomplish them. We really enjoyed relaxing through the holidays but now we are ready to get to work. Our 1st project of the year was to clean out the basement so we can work on finishing a couple of rooms. The polly pocket room is now gone for the time being. (I'm sure my nieces will be sorry to hear about that).
Last Sunday my parents and MIL came for dinner. It was great having them there. They finished up the night playing Ticket to Ride. It is all of my children's very favorite game. They have seriously played it for hours and hours since Christmas. Especially Shalece. If she isn't playing it here, she is a Grandma Kathy's with Jodi, Mike & Troy.

Your nephews will be sad about the Polly Pocket room too!
I am so addicted to Ticket to Ride, it is one of our favorites too. Looks like fun!
