{Christmas Happenings}

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas Season. We sure did. It was so great just being able to spend time together as a family. This year on Christmas Day we were blessed to have so much snow so, after all the presents were opened Broc, Britnee and the cousins bundled up for a fun day of sledding.

Ryan had as much fun pulling the kids around as they had fun sledding. He still is just a kid at heart.

As you can see Broc not only thinks the sledding is fun but his competitive nature is trying to push the other kids off the sled. They were having so much fun that even though it was really cold they didn't want to stop.

Broc, Brit, Mike & Brody

Shaelyn's school choir had the opportunity to sing at the Grizzlies Hockey game. Ryan & I took Broc and his friend to watch them sing and see a hockey game. It was Broc's first one and he thought it was pretty cool. Him and Blake sat right behind the glass so they had great seats of the action. He was disapointed however that there weren't any good fights and he didn't get a hockey puck.

Britnee must have been pretty darn good this year to actually get drums. I must say that she is getting pretty good at it. Shalece has taught her a few songs and they are working on one together (Lece on the guitar) . All they need to do is get Shaelyn to sing with them and maybe we will have a Hansen Girl Band who knows!!!

Christmas Eve and the new pajamas!!

Here is the live nativity at the Koltermann family Christmas party. It is a great Christmas tradition. I'm a little sad that all of my kids except Britnee think they are too old to be in the nativity. And can you even find Britnee? She was a shepherd and did a really good job disguising herself even down to the toilet paper beard!! (Oh, Shalece was the narrator so I guess she did participate but Broc & Shae just watched.)

More fun at the Koltermann Christmas Party

Shaelyn sang "Where are you Christmas?". She has such a beautiful voice I'm glad she is feeling more confident in front of people (even though its just family) because I really love hearing her sing.

I didn't know Shaelyn was a singer! How cool. I so wish I could sing. I just wrote on Emily's blog how badly I sing. I think I was very last in line for that talent. ha ha I love the sledding pictures. It looks like SO much fun....especially w/Ryan pulling them! My kids would have been in heaven. I loved our breakfast outing the other day. I think we should do it again very soon. It was fun hanging out and talking w/you guys. You're such a great person, Melanie. I was serious when I told you that I think you're amazing....I've never seen you in a bad mood. I guess I make up for that for both of us, huh?? (sorry!) BTW, if your girls are performing...let me know. I'd love to come over and listen!!

I love the pictures! That is why when Broc was at my house the other day, I tried to get them to go sledding and he told me he doesn't like to climb up the hills. He wants to be pulled behind a four wheeler! Thanks again for taking Blake to the hockey game! He had a blast! He loved when the players would get slammed into the glass!

Thanks again for having Blake so much over the Christmas break! We also loved having Broc at our house. Chloe loves him and prefers him to all of her brothers! He is such a good kid! We love him just like he is ours!

Thanks so much for the Tigers sweatshirt! Blake loves it so much he tries to wear it everyday! You and Ryan are the best and we really appreciate everything that you do for our family!
