Yes, I know it is hard to believe but Shalece turned 17 this summer. As her mom it is really hard for me to believe. The time has gone by so fast and truthfully I can't possibly be old enough to have a 17 year old. I am proud of her for all she has accomplished this far in her life. She has a plan and a lot of determination and I know she'll do great things in her life. She is already looking towards her future so this summer we started checking out colleges. That was a wake up call for me that she really only has 1 more school year at home. Honestly where does the time go??

I love Shalece! She is such a cute girl. I can't believe she is 17. I was just thinking, she is older than I was when she was born. That is just crazy.

You know I think Shalece is an amazing person. I am so impressed with how you and Ryan have raised her. She is so independent, smart, talented, and so confident. I love it. She is so much fun to be around. I have loved getting to know her better. I swear, she is going to be a famous writer someday. Mark my words. :o)
I have really gotten to know Schalece, since she has started keeping score for us. She is awesome and will do anything for anyone I love Schalece.. The other day I found a pic of Schalece,Mackenzie,Tyson they were just little and now I look at them and wow they have really grown up..
