Shalece is now 18!!!! Ryan was the 1st to tell her "Happy Birthday, I regret to inform you that now you have to start paying rent". It is hard to believe how fast the time has gone by.
Here are 18 things about Shalece:
1. She loves Dr. Pepper.
2. She is a very talented writer.
3. She has only hit the side of the garage twice in her car. (thank goodness we got a "teen" car)
4. She is the quote queen. (those of you who have been in her room know what I mean)
5. One of her goals in life is to make this world a better place.
6. She wants to join the peace cor.
7. She is a very loyal friend.
8. Flaming Gorge is one of her favorite places on earth.
9. She doesn't really like baseball. (How did that happen in this family)
10. She is an awesome lacrosse player and she loves it.
11. She also really loves coaching lacrosse.
12. She makes really really really good pizza(and breadsticks).
13. Her favorite Disney movie is still the Lion King.(since she was 3 she has been able to quote every line word for word and sing every song.)
14. She read the Book of Mormon this summer.
15. Music is a very big part of her life.
16. She is very excited to be going to UVU this fall.
17. She has always been very independent.
18. She can accomplish anything and everything she sets her mind too.
We love you Shalece and hope that your 18th year turns out to be everything you hope it will and more!

Your pretty lucky to have her as a daughter. She is awesome. (She must have got that from you) I will always remember how mad she got at me when I was playing The Lion King with her but apparently I wasn't doing it right. Love you Lece.
Happy Birthday Lece! I really can't believe you are 18. If you like Flaming Gorge so much, you should come visit me more often. I really don't live that far away. Good luck with this new stage in your life. It's a lot of fun.
